Quick to rage and completely in love with himself, the bgo boss made us laugh with his extravagance in this sadly short lived ad campaign. There’s few casino ads that were as memorable as this one and Verne’s performance was the driving force behind it. Ladbrokes – Cheap Thrills Ad Campaign Everyone knows taking a risk at the casino can be thrilling, but did you know that it might also save your life? That’s what Ladbrokes would have us believe anyway, when they launched their cheap thrills ad campaign, asking us, why parachute and swim with sharks, when online roulette can offer the same thrills? Paddy Power – Blind Football Paddy Power are the kings of comedy adverts and this controversial ad from 2010 was no different. Surprisingly a bit of animal abuse didn’t go down well with the Advertising Standards Agency, but we found it funny all the same.
